Didn't pass too many LEOs. Trooper was on the other side of the divider at an angle. Must have been I/Oing since I didn't get an alert. Passed a few more LEOs with customers on my side of the road. Only one had his radar on. Got the Ka 35.5 warning from at least 1.5m out. So range for C/O is great IMO, but as I've been told, I/O is in and C/O is out.
The Aura database needs some updating though, passed through a few 55 to 35 speedtraps on H521 and no alert tone. Doesn't matter to me since I take that route all the time, but obvious speedtraps like that should be in the database.
Other than that, smooth ride!
You should have marked those sites as radar traps on your detector at that time and downloaded it to the aura database !

So anybody can update the database? If so, that explains why one area on a freeway is marked as a speedtrap. Was scratching my head how a 60MPH zone is a speed trap. :P
For all of you I/O doubters,
Hit two I/Os tonight on H17. First time I got Ka 35.5, weak signal, got it twice. It just beeped two or three times and then stopped. Sure enough, there was a state trooper parked about 1 mile up the road on the side in some woods. Was hitting cars as they passed by. So I picked up I/O trails from at least a mile out. I'm no RD expert, but I was very surprised I was able to do that after reading this forum and the "other" RD forum.
The second time was a bit after that one, same thing. It would get a weak 35.5 and then shut off. About 1/2m down the road, county was parked in the median with no headlights on hitting cars.
Both ample time to slow down. Also, I got a fairly strong 34.7 Ka hit, but did not see any LEOs. Is that a real signal or just a false? EDIT: I see it is indeed a real alert, could not spot the LEO for the life of me though.
