Getting a new detector, what do you guys suggest?

ok, im in the market soon for a new detector, im selling my whistler wireless remote mount.

so far im thinking of the whistler pro models, the 73 and 58. i like the 73 and the display, except that its blue (my car lights up red).

i LIKED bel models, but ttheir recent track record seems to be suspect, and i cant afford any of the higher end models with pop likr the RX55 without ging to ebay, and then that opens up a whole world of uncertainty.

id love a V1 or a X50, but those are out there too in price.

any ive missed?

what do you guys suggest in the under 150 range with full features?

Bel 895 is pretty much your best bet, its under $200, but you won't get much under $150.

In your price range look at the Pro 58 or the Bel 795 or you might save a little more money and get the Bel 895

il check out the bel models. what about a rx55? i may be able to swing one of those, ive come across a few chep prices, mostly ebay though.

Lower end bel, or a whislter pro.

Whistler pros did pretty good at GOL tests.

I have heard some bad things about the RX 55, lots of falsing issues for the money.

i got the bell vector 895. it runs good and yes i do pick all the automatic doors on x and k bands. i guess everyone else does because legit police radars are on those bands too. you'll like it for the price. only Radio shack sells it
