    Default Are Photocopied Plates legal?

Hey guys, I'm new to the site but I was just curious as to the legality of photo copying a liscense plate and putting it on photo paper and laminating it to replace it with the original liscense plate to reduce lidar...my concern was if this is legal to do in North Dakota! Thanks

Also could anyone lead me in the right direction on finding out the most common type of radar/laser used in North Dakota as well? I'd really appreciate it!

This has been done, BUT there "used" to be a guy who made exact plastic replicas of your plate , BUT I can't find him anymore. Probably out of business. They looked really "real."
