    Default X Band in Florida

I know this has been answered before but I was not able to find it. Supposedly the used of X band by the cops is illegal, but driving on the turnpike I got shot about two times with it, also one of the tolls had a speed readers using X band. Those anyone knows anything about it??

I could have sworn I watched UF campus police ticket people with constant on X. But I doubt my memory especially with others verifying campus police use K. I read the Florida law myslef, X is not allowed period.

Could have been a coiencidence/false. In either way if it was X, it would just be a PIA just to go to court, easy win yes, but waste of time. annoying.

But could our RD screw up and process a K band signal as a X band, thus getting it mixed up, and if we have X disabled, we would be screwed!

If UF uses x band for some reason I'm focked, well I haven't really gone faster than the speed limit there becuase I know they really look for people speeding and they would get you.

I have been back through campus and only found K band. Other have also verified only K, so I do not know why I may have thought I had a X incounter back then. I would not worry about X band. Turn it off and have a pleasent ride.

    Hope that helps a bit.
