Can laser guns find radar detectors ?
Hi guys, am new in the forum.
Am from Cyprus and here radar detector are not allowd.
What I want to know is that "Do police understand that someone have radar detector in their car ? Does it show it in their laser guns or make any conflicts to their signal ????"
If police want to sniff out people with radar detectors they can buy a radar-detector-detector. These devices sniff out the radio waves that many RD's leak.
The poor man's version of this is to shoot instant on radar or laser at the rear of motorists & look for who hits their breaks.
the only thing radar and laser guns have are jam indicators, well i know laser guns do but i'm not sure about radar..

ok, NO the laser gun cannot tell you have a detector, a detector doesnt screw with a laser or radar, there is no way a cop with a laser or radar gun can tell you have a detector unless they hear the audio droppler drop in tone everytime they shoot you, this indicates to the cop that you are slowing everytime he shoots you with laser, he will then have enough suspision to pull you over and inspect the car.
As mentioned before he can also see your brakelights if he is traveling behind you.
If detectors are illegal there i would strongly suggest getting the BEL STi as the RX65 can be seen from about 300mtrs and V1 from about 150/200mtrs with a spectre RDD.
Oh and dont mount it in the middle of the window....thats the best detection for a cop

The V1 and RX65 is detected a little further with the current spectre..
Both more or less. Except a laser gun will show jam codes off reflected sunlight and other stuff, whereas a radar gun will make weird noises and maybe put a jam code but usually there is no specific code.radar or laser guns?Just about all radar guns have some kind of jam code.
