or if you still have that little camera you can pin it to your shirt or something...or your hat like you tried before...did you try ducktape

I think it would be funny to hear peoples stupid comments

LMAO ... 85% of the patents LOL...

That had to be Radio Shack..."They are redoing the store"

Radio shack is the only store that I know of that will change the around 10 times in a month...

But do you know why they do that...Because they want you to ask them so they can try to sell more things to you...cause they work of commission!!

    You BS so much Jason

Yeah when are you motorcyles out...I want to see one those are nice... LOL

I don't expect them to know anything. But, it was fun him trying to tell me about the stuff. I was told by a private e-mail that he was pretty much correct on the hole patten thing. I just tried not to laugh when he said laser eye. I mean I guess it is kinda like an eye. It was fun and yeah it was rat shack.

Depends on who you get at RadioShack. I had a 45 year old that didnt know much.

I went in looking for a sma connector for my jammer. Knowing that they wouldnt have one. Got any sma connectors? Him:Whats a sma connector?
Me:they use them on handheld amatuer radios vx-5. Him:never heard of sma. I sold cellphones for 35 years do you mean mini uhf?

He kept on trying to sell me a mini uhf connector. I told him no thats not what im looking for. I always like going in there and hearing their stories.

If you get someone young like 20's they know their stuff.

I look forward to going back maybe today or tomorrow and maybe asking a little more questions. After all I did go home to look those detectors up. So, now I know my stuff.

I could ask: What is laser? Can it pick up the aircraft when they try to get my speed? What is strobe alert? What is ka radar? There is a new radar band I heard called KY it came from a reliable source . Do you sell the ones that jam radar? I know they don't so hey do they really work?

If you can think of some funny questions I will ask it!!! Let me know.

Maybe I'm just too old...but I don't really the point of getting off because we're better informed about detectors than some poor guy trying to earn a living at radio shack. The guy has thousands of items in his store, and its doubtful that he's received extensive training on each item.

So what's the point. Is anyone going to go back into the store and help educate the sales guy? Write a letter to the head office? Or is the point of this adventure to just make fun of people? Don't get me wrong, I'm not some tighta$$, but I doubt that you could find a salesrep anywhere at any retail company that has the extensive knowledge about all detectors that most of us now do after joining this forum.

Bottom line is that before you buy any product do your own homework. Read websites like this or other review sites and make your decision.
