CB Opinions needed

Does anyone have experiences with the following:

1) Cobra 75WXST Remote CB & Weather Radio
2) 75-822 Mobile/Handheld CB Radio
3) Any other handheld cb in a vehicle

Specifically, what I would like to know if there is any disadvantage to hooking one of these up to a Wilson 1000 or other antenna in a car as far as reception is concerned versus using a more typical mobile cb installation.

When it comes to CB radio, plainly put, the most important part of your setup is going to be your antenna. If you are using a Wilson 1000, I don't care what radio you're using, you will hear everything just fine. If you are using a crappy RadioShack antenna, I don't care if you're using the most expensive radio on the market, you won't get out or hear near as far away as you would if you were using a Wilson 1000.

Basically what I'm saying is as long as you use the Wilson 1000 that you mentioned, your handheld radio will work just fine, as other members will tell you.
