Scanner education?

I was very frustrated at first, but now I don't even listen to music in my car, just the scanner, and enjoy it very much.

This so sounds like something I would do. Haha perhaps it is just an interest in radios that seems to have plagued me ever since I've had access to them? I've always been somewhat interested in computers. However, even when I was about 12 years old and showing my uncle how to use AOL for the first time, he showed me his CB radio and I suddenly had no interest in the computer anymore.
