    Default CB in Ontario

    Hey forum,

    I'm looking to listen in on OPP on a budget.

    I have found a Midland Model 77-118 with a lil wil antenna... Will this allow me to listen in on them/do the "cheesy repeater" trick as well?

    You are totally off on the wrong track. You're buying a CB to do the job of a scanner. That's like buying a motorcycle to make transcontinental flights in. Wrong tool for the wrong job.

    And there is no budget way to listen to OPP. It's $500 bucks for a digital scanner or you don't listen.
