seems to have the basic **** we need.

my question is it reliable radio?

and the external speaker jack same as the pro520?

i like to continue to use the uniden external non amplified speaker if i can

Well the unreliable-ness I've heard of with them boils down to the speaker that is built into the microphone, so the external speaker is almost a must. Jack for it is the same, it'll be located on the junction box. No P&T for the 75s but for countermeasure purposes that's not an issue. Put it up with a good antenna and it should be a decent performer. Dual watch might be a nice feature, and the sound tracker is a worthless feature best left off unless you're talking to another radio that also has the sound tracker on.

FYI the mic is about 1.5 times bigger than the average CB mic and it's about 4 times heavier as well.
