Antenna for Uniden 510XL

I looked closer and used a level on the trunk, and it slopes about 5 degrees downward. I may just go with the stock clamp on Wilson 1000 for short term.

For scanner, the antenna is smaller so probably place it off to driver's side trunk lip.

Correct, antennas need to be spaced apart, minimum recommended distance is 1/4 wave, and if you've got a radio that's transmitting you need to be even mroe careful, not only does bunching them make their ability to recieve weaker but a transmitting antenna too close to another will overload the other antennas and potentially fry the equipment it's connected to, radio waves are basically electricity when inside the radio and put too much into the recieving end and damage will be done. Higher frequency antennas can be put a little closer together though.

Looking to add an antenna to my 2001 civic

Looking at a Lil Wil ... But I kinda dont want a magnent mount. But I dont have any experience with other types .. Im currently researching lip mount to go on the back, but I dont know what to look for

Any help would be apprciated

i have a uniden cb and i have my wilson lil wil antenna on the trunk. i have a honda accord and i get atleast a good 3 miles out of it. thats all i need though imo. i have had it for 2 yrs and had no problems. jus the paint u can kinda tell is tearing where i take it off and put it back on tho.
