3 power contacts?

My power plug for my Realistic TRC-474 has 3 pins. :shock:

OK 1 is pos, 1 is neg. what is the centre?

It's a kind of Molex connector.

I want to wire it quickly to a cigarette lighter plug because I am going down to Toronto in a car that smashed hard into a guardrail, no grille, lights, or bumper and the hood is smashed, so I don't really want to run the RD (don't think I'll have an STI by that time...)

yes lol. i remember installing some Hella lights on my buddys jeep. it had a relay on it and there was a Power, ground, and an Earth? didnt know wtf the earth was. but we didnt use the relay anyway, we just wired it direct. with no 'earth' lol.
