Yes I use a CB and there is a little bit of lingo like they call cops bears, smokey, DOTs, etc.

Both of these units will "Git er done" and you will be able to fool truckers into giving you "smokey reports".

Thanks, that's more in my price range. I want a cheap but reliable one. I thought the antenna choice was more important?

The antenna is the most important. and a good reliable radio comes second

Well the only difference is the amount of power they each can handle.

I went with the Wilson 500 cause it was cheapest one i could get my hands on and 3 best base loaded antenna
