If it's the kind of squealing I'm thinking, it's an old belt. Check your tensioner and put a new belt on there.
Eh. Get another job, find someone who will co-sign with you, buy another car.
Learn to work on it yourself. Makes maintenance palatable, save a LOT of money. My 1000$+ timing belt job at the dealer was better done by myself at only 250$ for all the parts.
What you need is more work. I'm a full time student, junior, graduating early, applying to medical schools, work two jobs, bought my current car two years ago for 13K on a 5 year loan, I currently...
Huh, weird. I drive up and down 84 from NY all the way to manchester, and 95 all the time, occasionally 91 around hartford and I have NEVER picked up Ka on limited access highways in CT. Laser hits...
CT seems to have exclusively laser on the highways...
I don't think he drives a '91 civic guys...
Usually not very precise or verifiable especially if he has an engine tuned to the bleeding edge of timing, but I guess gas numbers can be full of sh!t too...
Doesn't seem to be common...like everyone else said, 93 seems to be the norm. You might want to detune your car for the trip just so you don't have to later, since you probably won't find 94-100 here.
Also no more cop's face, might be a liability problem.

A camera and a high powered pulsed CO2 laser on an x-y turret, have the camera direct where the LIDAR ray is coming from, snap the co2 laser's aim on that, fire. No more gun lol
Worth a shot *shrug*. Maybe they don't want to put excessive wear on the glow plugs? I hear they're a ***** to replace at times.
Maybe its more likely a work truck and they dont care?
Welcome, nice bike!
I can't imagine it being possible to account for the laser absorptivity of the atmosphere and whatever crap may be in the air between the officer and the car, the glass of the car and whatever...
Bhahaha salty. And DUI- in upstate ny. Make the trip!
Buy a V1 and try it out, if you don't like it, go with a Redline. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, and you have to research and try them out to decide between the two on your own. I'm...
None of the responses were meant to be negative in any way towards you, we just... hate RMR here. Nothing wrong with getting a detector for Christmas and using it, but now that you're here, look...
I'm shamed. My best friend uses a cobra, the cobra I gave to him for free after I upgraded to my 8500. Since then I've told him that he needed to upgrade, but it picks up C/O Ka fairly well and has...
May 1st is great.
^absolutely. cancer- nice setup! that's insane, yet elegant lol. Definitely overengineered in the best way possible.
The heat sucked on the old beetles because they were air cooled engines... maybe this one needs a coolant change? Clogged heater core?
Definitely, definitely drop the transmission pan and drain out all the fluid, and change the filter. Goes a long way in extending the life of a tranny. You can fix part of an engine, but an automatic...
It's fine. I have mine running off of one, and I installed SaltyinNJ's stuff off of one as well. Just keep the inline fuses on.
