Try the autoMute option that LI supports, if your car radio supports too. In my opinion, it's more useful than the external speaker option.

Also for your and other LI users info, who want to add an external speaker is that your external speaker must have Impedance between 4-16 Ohm, this is important to avoid...

Check also the volume trimmer on the LI CPU. The default is not set to maximum but a bit higher than 50% loud.

I mean when it is in normal mode and you use this switch it will go to parking mode the same time.
While jamming the best is to slow down and turn it off from the power switch.
