^ ccc - Would it be possible for you to post a picture of this product? Since there may be some "across the pond" differences, that could help us out a bit.

    ---

3M Automotive Trim/Mo(u)lding tape is good stuff, but for those in the northern hemisphere, please be aware that now, with lower ambient temperatures, even more care needs to be taken in the initial mounting process, to insure proper curing and maximum adhesion.

Objectively, yes, the LI heads - even the "standard sized" ones, are more than light enough to mount via this method, even "permanently," however, the initial cleaning/prepping as well as curing process must be well-performed, and also, just to be extra safe, I would recommend tethering the com cable to a nearby support structure via Zip-Ties.

And before I apply the stick tape to any surface, that surface must be cleaner than an operating room. Once the tape is mounted to the heads, I heat the tape and mounting location in the car with a heat gun. I usually wont move the vehicle for a few hours after the install.

so you think that would be a good idea to put them above where the other vents are?

Yup... More protection from road debris and better protection for your roofline.
