Here's my rear install of a single regular LI head. I screwed it directly to the license plate and then fitted a cheap plastic frame. It's off center so I can access the hatch release button. Now I need to find someone to test my set-up.

Nice man! 8)
man that looks great!
can you elaborate a little more on how you installed it?
Here's a picture of the head without the plastic frame showing how I screwed it directly to the plate. I got this idea from another mini cooper owner's install.Originally Posted by thestaton
I had to also cut a notch out of the plate for the wiring that comes out the back of the sensor. My license plate slants backwards so I bent the top edge to level the head. I ran the wiring through a hole with grommet I drilled behind the hatch handle.
I got the cheap plastic frame for a couple bucks from Pepboys and dremmeled a fitted rectangular hole out like rsatmans did with his slick two slim hear rear install. I'll post pictures later when I get home.

I didn't have the tools or patience to cut a metal frame like he did, though. I think his heads are screwed to the frame itself, not the plate like I did.
The wiring was not quite long enough to reach the CPU mounted in my front passenger footwell so I need to get some RJ11 6P6C extension.
Like brother 84_03 said, it just keeps getting better !
Cool! 8)
