I have gone completely insane and am thinking to get antilaser duals AND 9500ci for my TL babi.

I know, I know, look at my Legacy, it's got more than the necessary share of jammers onboard.

But honestly, at this stage, NONE of us TRULY know, on a quantitative basis, what kind of potential cross-talk could be elicited, and with the currently "unknown" jammer in the 9500ci, this becomes even more of a concern.

A TL ain't cheap, and you truly sound (er...type?) like a smart guy - and unless you're fond of funding things by consumer credit I'm guessing that you have a decent bankroll, and that your intelligence is part of the reason why that is the case.

Truly, the smart money now is to just sit and wait. The 9500ci/ZR4 is due-out any time, and the GOL seems to be on hold-pattern, awaiting access to this latest device in order to do a true all-production-retail-example comparo for their next "Shootout."

I'd HONESTLY wait-out, particularly given the current ( and still ongoing, ref: http://www.radardetector.net/viewtop...=393525#393525 - note that this comes from Mthman30, who, if you'll search his past post here, you can see how much he likes the AntiLaser - it's sad, IMveryHO, when such a clear fan is reacting to the parent company in the way he is, it makes me not only feel bad for what he's going through, but also makes me feel that the company is not giving us good-faith ) concerns for the weatherseal integrity of the AL G8, as well as the performance concerns we all have over not only the Blinder 5-suffix products, but also the true-production-retail LI, and the new 9500ci/ZR4.

I know that money is burning a hole in your wallet, and that every time you creep above PSL, you're all crawly and itchy. But honestly, given the concerns cited here, I'd say that anyone can see why I would say so.

^ No, you don't need one.

IIRC, Georgia does not require a front plate - so you'd be better off without *anything*, for sure.

The only reason to use a "dressed" or otherwise "bait" plate is if your state/country requires a front plate.

With no front plate= STi (V1) alone is good enough
