Default V1 and Concealed display install in SUV...

Cadillac Escalade ESV - nothing fancy, V1 mounted high behind windshield tint. Concealed display hard wired and hidden - for the most part, above my rear parking sensors and traction control button. Great visibility for driver!

That is a very good install. Although it requires some eye travel if you need to look at the bogey/band, I like the flush mounted CD.

eye travel to CD is actually very easy to read...I had CD change to have colored lights. Signal stregth was changed to blue and bands were changed to - blue, yellow, green and red for x band. Very easy to read past dusk.

Once again not enough post to take in the eye candy.

That is a very nice and straightforward installation. The concealed display location does have a decent factory look to it.

I like how the wiper blades just cover the area of windshield the V1 antenna is at... You didn't happen to measure it to ensure its at a clean spot of windshield did you?

Very nice. Clean install. I agree the display is a bit out of sight but once you get used to it, it should be fine.
