Thumbs up Re: Passport 9500ci in 2007 Porsche Cayman S

Very nice and clean install Gator Bite It's nice to show first hand why MECP installers are a step above the rest The only thing that I would have done differently is get some matching gray material with red stitching and make a 'jacket' for the display to match the rest of the dash. Other than that it was very clean and refreshing to see a top notch install such as this. I'll bet you had a blast installing it

It was fun to use my install skills again. I often miss installing. I get a real rush from the finished product, and this job provide a lot of that. But I did not enjoy seeing my car like this:

    I love threads like these!

    Great car, awesome install.

And FWIW, I love seeing cars in various stages of dis-assembly and assembly.

    I can top that.

My father's classic car was getting complete frame off restoration and we went to the shop to check progress and saw the the car all in different pieces around the shop. The guy then tells us don't worry he video taped him taking it apart so he could put it back together, but he lost the tape. This was also his first car from that era so that was scary...Luckily it got back together some how without the tape (final picture)

At least cars made back then were less complicated. What is that car anyway? It looks older than Roy.
