That's a sweet install! I think you picked the best available spot for the heads, and the interior install is one of the best I've ever seen.

Congrats! Have you had a chance to test it yet?

    Thank you....

Yes, I've driven more than 500 miles with it so far. I have an SRX in my other car, so that is my reference point. The 9500ci is significantly more sensitive, warning me to my local false radar sources far earlier. I've come accross one K band speed sign and two Ka police cars in action. The K and Ka sensitivity is outstanding. X band senstivity is verging on ridiculous. I am picking up 3 or 4 sources at a time in town. There isn't any active X band speed measurement in my area, so I'll probably end up turning it off.

I'm still trying to get used to the ramp up, which is a little different than the SRX, especially in auto mode. I love Truelock. Overall, the 9500ci is amazing.

Extremely nice installation. I would do some lidar testing asap and see where you are with that.

Thats what I noticed too. It gives the display sort of a factory look.

Home Depot, hardware department. They are #6 x 1/4" spacers. They are made of aluminum and are actually silver. I filed them down to 0.175" from their original 0.250" because the display was partially eclipsing my information center. Then I sprayed them with a single coat of flat black enamel (Rustoleum, also from HD). I used two stainless steel #6/32 x 1/2" screws from underneath. I drilled two small holes in the bottom of the plastic display housing and threaded them. I used a few washers under the head of each screw to make sure the screw did not protrude into the display too much (there is a little room for protrusion, maybe 0.075").

How can I do some testing? Do you know where I can get my hands on a gun?
