Got a clearer pic of that? Not sure what a missile switch is. Trying to figure out exactly what you've done there.

Sorry for the late reply man, I stopped by walmart of the way back so that i could take a picture of the adapter. But i guess they ran out of it. I google'd some general pics......

These are missile switches, I think they get their name from the silver switch which looks like missiles.

This is the cig adapter 3 way plug and each of it has a switch so i can switch it off when i am not using it.

The one from walmart looked a lot cleaner and i was able to tug the excess wire under the seat and only have the switch box come out and i attached it to the back of the center console using 3m mounting tape. i could reach down easily and switch it on and off. I liked it a lot cause it came with Leds so i lights up the car floor at the back......Hope this helps..

Okay, I *think* I get what's going on now, lol. They're called missile switches because of the protective, anti-trip safety covers on them, which is similar to the switches used to launch early missiles. Never seen a cig plug adapter with them on it though. The switches look like they take up the whole box, so I don't see where you would plug anything into it. Not important, really. Just curious.

That is why I chose the mirror as well.

I resolved this problem by turning down the volume all the way on the V1, so there is no X alert sound at all from the V1. Also, setting the V1 at "L" or "l" mode reduces false X alerts. Finally, on the mirror, I turned off X Band, so the mirror does not give any tones or voice alerts for X Band at all.

    Great Install.

I set my speed threshold on the mirror at 35. Remember KA comes through no matter what. I turned x-band audio off on the mirror. But it retains the display on the V1.

Not on mine, it doesn't. I've tested it with the Stalker.
