STI-R & Blinder M45 - Acura TL

Just finished the install about 20 minutes ago.



The STI-R is mounted at the bottom left grill behind 1 bar of .5cm thick plastic. There should not be much interference by it. All heads are level and straight.





For the kill switch when it went in, it did not want to turn again. I don't care that it is a bit crooked because it wont be seen by anyone.

Looks great, with all 4 heads up front you should have no problems there.

Where did you put the radar head, I could not pick it out in the pictures.

The radar antenna is in the bottom left grill. I did not cut the plastic because I want to see if my range is hindered at all like it was in my last car. Unlike my last car, this plastic is thin and seems a bit flimsy. There is only one bar going across in front of the antenna and it is only about .5cm thick. If the range is not as good as it should be I will break down and cut the grill there too.

Nice install Woodscolby, that's exactly where i would put the heads on my TL. However i would love to have the radar head near the Acura emblem.

I'm assuming the different heads wont interfere with each other.

It is the M45 so there shouldn't be any interference. If I were using multiple different jammers then I would expect it.

Should not cause interference, on the M45 only the heads that are actually receiving lidar will fire.

Looks good except for the radar antenna. Let us know how the sti-r performs compared to the V1 while you have the antenna behind the plastic.

looks good man!!! only thing maby mount the sti head under the "A" emblem would be best performance

In your car do you have a few switches on the panel right left of the below light switch, if there is a blank panel you can use it for the Blinder switch and led.
