Bah I forgot to take a pic of the CB while I was out there! I knew there was a reason I went out there and somehow I forgot it lol

Sorry to go a little off topic, but how is the scanner reception with the rubber duck? Also, what does the A/V hookup do for the scanner? I assume the GPS link automatically updates what the scanner should look for perhaps?

The A/V is just for direct Audio into the stereo so I can listen to the scanner through my radio speakers. The Pro-97 is just a basic analog Trunk Tracking scanner, nothing fancy.

Ah gotcha, that still sounds nice to me either way. What kind of range can you estimate your scanner gets?

I tested with FR8 in Killeen. JTG for the most part when aimed CM on the plate, 1 or 2 of the guns gave punch through at below 200ft. However the fog lights/headlight shots can kill me. Some of the guns were instant punch through when aiming there, others gave me until about 500-600ft before punch through. So I def. need some protection for the fog/headlights.
