    Don't have an STI-R, but isn't the antenna upside down?

    No it isn't. The humps go on top.

    I hope that grille doesn't effect performance like mine did. When I had my antenna mounted behind my grille, performance was horrible on Ka band, but X and K band was still good. Do you have a good windshield mounted RD to compare the STi-R's performance to until you know for sure that it is working properly?

    Had an off axis shot from 35.5.Beat the V1 by a long shot.Compared to where it was originally mounted its so much better.The installer mounted it directly behind the upper grill.I made sure that both antennae have a clear view of the road.
