    Default 2005 Acura TL Install

I just got done hardwiring my V1 and my garmin. I tell you what, if it wasn't for Acurazine I'd be in some deep s**t right now lol. This car was a pain to take apart, but I got it done. I plan to install a Color Concealed Display for the V1 within the next 2 weeks. After that, it's the Beltronics Sti-R Plus, LI HPs, and possibly a TPAS system for when I move to FL. Still debating on whether or not I'm installing my CB, due to poor mounting locations. I will keep all of you updated.

Haha really? I thought it was pretty easy. Just ran the wires down the a-pillar and they come out above the interior fuse box which I tapped a fuse. Well...Multiple fuses. I have a few things hardwired into the car.

Now, get on to that STi-R and LI-HP. V1 is in the same spot as mine

The manual on how to take it apart wasn't complete. I had to browse through a couple threads to find what I needed, and even still, that wasn't enough. I had to guess at a couple things. All in all I broke 2 clips

I actually hard wired my V1 remote display without the windshield, peace of cake. ;-)

You didn't actually need to take anything apart though? Everything should have been able to be tucked in.

I wanted to run my wire underneath the black weather strip thing, and part of the dash was blocking it. I ended up just putting the wire above the strip, and putting it under it when the dash wasn't blocking it (if that makes any sense at all lol)

I ran mine from the fuse box and tucked it into the seam here:

Then up the side between bottom inside of the dash and frame here:

Then tucked between the dash and pillar base then between the windshield and left pillar molding:

And finally tucked remainder under the head liner to the RVM position:

    Or this :

I did the same thing as CJR. Except for the Redline I had to go down the passenger A-pillar and then under the dash and across the center console to the fuse box.
