Default STi-R+ and LI Dual on 07 Infiniti FX35

    Hi Guys,

I've just finished installing STi-R+ and LI Dual on my FX35.

I used grommet on passenger side to get all the wires inside, then the cables were routed though center console to the driver side. LI cpu is hiding behind the kicking plate. The rest is very straight forward.

I don't know if the speaker is loud enough when the laser hits + music is on. I hope that combination of STi-R+ and LI speakers would be enough.

    Sensor heads

Speaker is attached to parking break using two cable ties forming X shape. If you can still see Beltronics logo.

Have you tested your setup yet? Wonder why you mounted the bubbles in instead of out. Curious.

it looks like the passenger side LI head might be pointing down. I could be wrong, sometimes its hard to tell from a photo. Did you check them with the level?

Also, its important that they are facing straight forward.

Other than that, it looks like a very nice install.

Nice install. I hope your FX35 doesn't have the adaptive cruise control option, or else you're going to get falses galore.

Nice equipment. You could probably tuck the wire for the stir controls behind the plastic there. Looks like its two different prices that meet up so you could wedge the wires thru and behind the crack.

@RobInAlbany: I tried to get them leveled but it's so hard as the grill itself didn't have a leveled and flat surface, I will double check carefully again. Thanks for pointing it out.

@Andrew21: I didn't think about the bubbles being in or out. Is there an advantage of them being the other way around?

    @The Stigs Cousin: Good idea!

And I don't have adaptive cruise

Do you guys have any tips on how to get the heads facing directly forward? The grill is curved and I have a hard time aligning them.

    Thanks for all comments!

I should have read the manual carefully first

Quote from: Laser Interceptor - The Ultimate Laser Jammer - Installation

The two laser jammer transceivers are mounted on the front of the vehicle, normally within the front grill, as close vertically and horizontally to the headlights as possible, 40cm to 70cm apart. The lens' receivers (bubbles) have to be oriented outwards, towards the headlights, and the fastening eyes have to be secured on the body of the vehicle.

I would flip the heads your bubbles on the outside will give you better reception and in turn jamming capability on the outside

It is but that doesn't affect the performance of the STi-R+.
