but from the thousands of miles I've logged that's been the garmins only fault. you would think they could update that feature by now.
I bought my Garmin 760 right around the time the 265WT was announced. I figured if that lower end unit has the next turn arrow feature, surely they'll bring it to the high end systems like the 760 with a firmware update.

    No such luck.

If They put out a single über unit with all of the features they offer on their various models, I'd buy it in a second and never look back.

Things I need on a Nuvi:

    1. Next Turn arrow (new nuvis have this)
    2. Road Avoidance
    3. Custom Detour Distance.

If they added the three above I'd buy a Nuvi and not look back. By the looks of it, the Navigon 7200T isn't half bad in this regard.

    Things I'd like to see:
I'd love to see some interactive community features, like the Dash Express where traffic conditions experienced by one unit is fed back to other units on the road.

Historical traffic info would also be great. There are some roads in my area that have speedlimits of say 50, but the road is a complete disaster due to traffic lights and congestion (congestion that does not show up in traffic alerts).

I have the Garmin 760 as well. It is really a neat gadget but you have to watch where it tells you to go. I have had it try to send me the wrong way on 1 way roads and once it wanted me to go the wrong way on an exit ramp to get on a highway. Its only as good as the maps that are available for the area. Greensboro has been doing major road reworks for the new Fedex hub for a few years now, and the unit does not recognize any of the roads around the north side of the airport. This would be a real problem for someone unfamiliar with the area trying to catch a flight on time. Especially as they would probably be relying on it to get them there. I love to put the female foriegn voices on too. The only women I can mute when I want is on the Garmin
