Trapster GPS question

Hello - so I got a TomTom for Xmas and promptly downloaded the speed trap points file today. My question is, I think I saw the file dated June 2009 so is this old data? How often is this file updated? I guess I need to keep checking back for updates as I know traps will be updated or fall off. How often and does anyone know when the next update will come out? Do I just download again or do I have to erase the current data as well? I tried the search but couldn't find this info - thanks in advance!
