Mr. Valentine, please don't void my Warentee because I opened my pop2 V1. I erased all serial numbers on the pics.

I posted these pics before; but now we have more members.

Isn't that the serial number in the lower corner? I think you forgot one. It doesn't matter because from what I have heard people who have opened the case and sent it back for an upgrade latter have been rejected due to the case showing tamper marks. : :shock: :cry:

wow them are amasing!! the whole electronics covered with metal... and then a metal case so its really protected against electrostatic interference!

thats a big diode!! i think even though the antennas smaller it probibly doesnt make any difference if it did he wouldnt have changed it!!

same with the diode! that must be the breakthrough diode!!

amasing the performance of it just goes to show what can be acheived!

The lidar sensor is not huge. It is a lens that focus's the light on a normal size diode.

That's the version of the circuit board, so I'm not worried. If V1 denies my upgrade in the future, I'll ebay it and make off better anyway.

ah right....... so in effect the diode has 2 len's over it... including the dark red cover!

Um.... yeah... so its just 1 diode unlike the v1.7's (or older) 6 diode.. just with a big mirror lens and the regular reddish lens.

Essentially the same as the X50 and others.
