V1 and Gas Stations

I've just received my V1 last Monday and already it has saved me twice. Once from X Band and once from K Band. But one thing that is driving me crazy is that when I pull into a Shell or an Esso (Exxon) I get some crazy laser warnings from the V1. I've been looking around as I fuel up but the only thing I can see would be security cameras. Would it be possible for them to set off the laser warning?

I know this topic isn't terribly important but I was just curious about why it is happening.

Any ideas?

Probably not any red neon lights?

I haven't seen any red neon lights in the gas stations and its definetly not other cars tail lights setting it off.

Laser cruise control does it but you are saying it happens every time?
I guess it could be the camera does it look infrared (night vision)
if so this is the first for a camera false.
V1 laser is extremely sensitive I think its time for a filter option.

I think the camera's are probably night vision and that is my best guess why it is being set off.

That must be it, I had a night vision camera once and it emits red LED's that shine an invisible light. The more LED's the more distance about a foot per LED.
I do pick ups from certain company's that have the total James Bond infrared cameras.
