    Mike,
I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. As an advanced user, your repeated firmware releases make me wonder why you are not testing your units before mass production.

As an RF engineer myself, and dealing with ASIC development, we make certain our firmware is as reliable as possible before release. We postpone our production if our product does not function as advertised.

It would take an engineer only an afternoon to completely check off all programmable functions to verify proper operation. Either you know about these bugs before shipping, or in your hurry to ship your quality control goes out the window.

Now, for the folks on this board:
I have 3.821 and besides the J issue, Bogey Counter issue, I find out today that using option 7 with B,C,D does not mute K band at all. Very disappointed.

Should I 'upgrade' (LOL) to the 3.826 release? Are their ANY known issues with 3.826?. Does K-Band mute work (option 7, B,C,D). I also read the J issue is still there. Jeeeeesus

Thank you to the dedicated forum participants on this board who are helping Valentine Research debug their firmware for free.

Yes, you should upgrade. The 3.826 is the most stable release with the current options (POP2, Euro). There were several issues fixed in the 3.826, but some of the units still J out real threats. Mine and several others do not. There are no "E" errors like on the 3.851 and the 3.851 still has the J bug.
