Default Confirmed... My V1 is not working on K-Band

I just received my Bell RX65 today and decided to test the two against each other at a school speed sign. I had only 1 unit on at the time, and circled the block several times.

As I reported earlier, my V1 3.818 didn't pick up speed signs. The RX65 started picking up the speed sign ~1 mile away. The RX65 indicates that it's K-Band 24.152 in Freq.

The V1, in "A" mode, with no custom programming, never ever beeped. (I had the unit in "L" mode almost all of it's life.) It was dead silent all the way through. The sign showed my speed at about 100 yards away.

I'm going to pickup my Dad's V1 tonight, and try it tomorrow when school is in session again.

All this time I though maybe the LEO instant on'd me, used POP or lied, but it looks like it's possible he had it on all the time, and like an idiot drove right into his trap.

I can't say the unit doesn't pick up K-Band altogether, since it reports K-Band on doors all the time.

Here's my first post about it: http://www.radardetector.net/Nailed-...ing-15826t.php

put the rx 65 on tech display to see if the k band falses are 24.125

as you say the v1 is picking up some falses. if the k falses are 24.125 and the v1 is picking them up then go to the school speed signs and check their frequency.

unless they are in the v1's scan 24.050 - 24.250 range then it wont detect them, if they are 24.125 then the v1 should pick them up unless they use fmcw modulation.

if your unsure that the v1 is working properly send it in, what you need to do it drive about with the rx 65 and find a k band trap and test the v1.

The unit doesn't "false" near the school, I just know the V1 beeps k-band around automatic doors (grocery, wal-mart) etc. The school has nothing around it, so I would assume there's no interference.

Neither the Rx65 nor the V1 false anywhere near the school. It's a residential area.

I will drive up to a "door" to see what freq it is on, just for giggles.

I keep saying that, but they (The Zombies) always say "Thats what the E is for", or some BS like that

mine screwed up on k band, after i turned it off and back on it started to work normal.

i never had the E so this leads me to believe its software bugs or glitches rather than out of tune..
