Backup.....
Well got word from Escort the x50 is on its way back from factory.
Anyways...i had all intentions on selling it upon its return...yet now im thinking perhaps keep it for backup.
So far the V1 has been great...... No "E" and its been hot here.
Anyways just looking for your thoughts on this.
my 3.851 has been good to me so far...
I have an original 8500 as a backup
Its up to you, the X50 is an expensive backup
If the X50 works well and you are happy with it, I would keep it as a backup. Go out and buy a less exensive backup and it will probably not be as good. I would not trust a E-795 as a backup fo example based on my experience. You may luck out and get a good one, but then again you may get a bad one and wind up with a ticket, then you're not saving much money.
If you didn't have the X50, a moderate priced E-895 would make a great backup for $150. But word appears to be getting around about how good it is because they are very hard to find.

I was going to sell it to get back some of the money spent on it. Never really got a chance to use it, as it was sent back 2 days after purchase due to service message.
Yet seeign as how the V1 is giving some trouble out of the blue(mine works great).... Im thinking I will keep it as backup....
LOL not always i would imagine peeps to have a top of the line backup...Kinda funny

Really if youve got it keep it, MY only choice for "Switching" is with my Brother's 7500S, and Id DEFINATELY get the short end of the stick on that deal!!!!
