For those of us who have the V1 3.854

What has been your experience on V1 3.854 K Band Performance
both Instant on and constant alerts

What has been your experience on V1 3.854 KA band performance
both instant on and constant alerts

What has been your experience on V1 3.854 Laser performance

Dear RDNXXX,

I have just purchased a V1 (Version 3.854) and reguarding:

K band: Against a Your Speed Is sign located on a hill + a curve I get .4 mile warning. I used to have a V1 (Version 3.826) and from my records on that same road and roughly same traffic (light) I only got a .2 mile warning.

KA band: I haven't found any CHP (CA) yet to test this. Same for Laser

To me it seems more sensitive. I used to keep my best detection range in my signature, but I was told to keep my signature short. So now I only have my version and settings. I now keep my mileage to myself and will gladly PM anyone who wishes to know. But for now this is all I got!

My k band i would say is impressive but ka i don't know im not so sure about it i haven't really had a great head to head ka encounter well i kinda have but he wasn't shooting people to my front but id say its lacking on ka detection still i don't know though I do know that it is tunnel visioned though... you don't beleive that check out my webpage and go to Leo side street wmv...

Well Everyone,

I write with horrible news. I got my first "E" today while stopped at a red light. I had my A/C on the highest and coldest settings and I looked down and I saw a E at first I thought there was 3 bogeys but then it hit me not 3 but E. It stayed on until I turned off then on again the V1. Which was about two minutes. This makes me upset but I still trust the V1 but the KA does seem like Instant On because it alerts gets to six LEDS then vanishes. So that is my story and I'm stick'n to it.

there should not have been any alert cuz when i got all 10of mine, there was no audio alert ever

No there was no audible alert I only noticed it when I looked down. And also I experienced it again today only this time at the post office. It seems that as sson as I stop driving I notice it, but not until I stop. When I glance when driving I don't see it. Oh well, this makes #2 encounter. Once I reset it (turn off then on) its good for the rest of the day.
