My 3.851 j-ed out TWO Ka-band State Troopers in one 250 mile trip. I sold mine on ebay that night and went to X50. I totally agree with being able to turn off j- feature. I dont know if i will ever go back to v1.
V1 Js and Laser Falsing all the time
This "J" issue is rediculous.
I have 3.826 and I started noticing the J issue just out of my 30 days.
I was getting it every single day, and several times it even J'ed out real LEOs.
When I called Mikey too tell him about my problems with it J'ing all the friggen time, he kind of got smart and was like well!, would you rather have had your X50 False all the time and not report it to you as a false.
Well, I'm sorry Mikey.... but my X50 had better filtering than V1. I hardly EVER got a KA or K false on my X50, and it never gave me a KA and said woops just kidding, then it was a real COP!, jeeze.
I turned off POP and it was like a relief because I never saw the J again, but now it is starting back up with all these Js.
I would rather THINK it is a real cop, rather than having it scare me half to death, and then being like.... OH! WOOOPSY! :roll: JUST KIDDING!
And the laser falses I get on my V1, whoa.... one or two a week! My X50 never did that.
No one can argue that this V1 DOESNT need improvement, cause there is PLENTY of room for that in that department!
makes perfect sense to have J feature enable/disabled, if your v1 keeps J'ing out real sources you can just turn it off instead of sending it back to VR to fix it :idea: why does mike think it's not a good idea :?: if enough people complain maybe he'll take it into consideration
