3.856 E message

The "E" means ERROR!! it does not specifically apply to an overheat condition.

it could be any one of 1,000 things that may have caused it!!

the unti does an internal self-test to check for proper operating parameters, if it fails one or more, it displays an "E".

send it back for warranty work, that is why they have warranties!!

Schittt happens, it is an electronic item, electronis can glitch or fail!

Is this the only post we've had about a 3.856 with an "E" i'm trying to be patient in waiting for a stable firmware update

Believe me guys .I got "E" message once daily. Like I said already its my third V1 with "E" message. I'm not lucky or the Mike need to make a serious check what is wrong with his radar.

When I first time recieve it I was thinking that is maybe something else but right now I'm sure that is ERROR

Well for KA definately yes. It eats it alive. For K band it has great filtering for the city. I did some testing with the Bel Pro RX65 (version 6.1)vs the V1 (version 3.854) here is the link http://www.radardetector.net/VIDEO%3...%29-16189t.php take a look for yourself. It is against a K band Your Speed Is sign and you will be the judge. But for KA yeah it is great! Let me know what you think! Either PM or post here please it will help me when I make another video of testing.

U said that u got already 2 times "E" message on your V1.Do u still own it???
Because thats why I returned mine.The videos are great.You should do test on a straight road too.
