    Default Amazing Ka

wow, today on a trip through Richardson i get a Ka signal, arrows forward. there are lots of trees and a hill and the V1 is slowly ramping up as i go past the .6 mile marker and i come over the hill at .9 miles and can start to make out the LEO down the road and i pass him at 1.2 miles!!! and i reset the tripodometer after i passed him and pick him up from rear for another .7 miles. so far no E with my 3.856 and only has used the J'ing out feature once and it used it properly j'ing out a crapra just giving a little bit of relief to the V1 community. looks like the 3.856 is here to stay.

yep and on the way back i go striaight to 4 strentght and then it ramps up and i was getting the signal from down a side street, which was prob about
.5 away, which isnt really bad at all considering it was coming perfectly perpendicular to me and its not like you can be targeted at 90 degrees toward a cop any how.

You sure he didn't hit you with instant on?

I know it was constant on because the V1 alerted when I first saw him and continued to well after I passed him (around a 30 sec time span at 45 mph).. 3-led alert all this time. Do instant on radars leak at all? I doubt it

Yeah that doesn't sound like you had a properly working V1. The reason I asked if it might have been instant on was your first post sounded like you had no warning until you saw him, which might have been a sign the LEO was using instant on. But after you passed him and you still were getting alerts but never a full alert is a pretty good sign you may have had a bad V1

    Hope your new one rocks.
