    Default v1 power cord

    i have a telephone style cord that i hardwired to my ignition, i used it with my x50 jut fine. my question is that can i use it with a v1 for power? thanks

    ONLY if it is wired correctly.

    Well if it powers on the x50, than it is wired correctly.

    They use the same power wiring diagram. v1 also has a data port so if you plan on using the v1 remote, just use its hardwiring kit.

    Not necessarily, it will power the V1 but the data ports are wired differently so the mute button won't work even without using the V1 remote.
