Laser is instant on. The laser falses can come from Infinity cruise control. Some vehicles have neon HMSL (brake lights) that could also set it off. Looks like you have a good Ka performer, like mine!

I'm newer to running the V1, but have been using escorts for quite some time. The V1 seems to false alot more on laser than other detectors, but there is no comparison when it comes to laser detection. The price you pay for that is falsing from a number of things, like: Trailblazer tail lights, neon signs, adaptive cruise control (like found on some Infinitys). Also, I noticed my jammer falses on school bus strobe lights sometimes. If you were being hit with a real laser alert, I am pretty sure that you would have seen a stationary officer intently aiming the LIDAR gun at traffic.

If it is real, you will see the LEO, because laser requires line-of-sight to work (if he can see you, you can see him). Now if it's dark and he's well hidden behind a bridge abutment or an on ramp shooting from the rear, you may not be able to see him, but the arrows should aid here.

Depends on how fast you're going Usually a dozen car lengths or so. If your rabbit is targeted with laser, you may or may not get an alert on your rd.
