Do I put it in its original box with all accesories and ship it ground?
Or will it just be the radar.... i would not know how to protect the radar inside the box

Original packaging with no accessories, o go ahead and send everything maybe you will get lucky and they will send you a brand new one (NOT)
I would never send ground do you want to wait 2-3 weeks to get it back?

Try Fed Ex Tim and I were discussing that it appears that you get the same service for less $.
Make sure to include a note saying what you need done (e.g. update firmware to 3.825).
Original packaging is best, if you have it available. Otherwise, wrap the V1 in a lot of bubble wrap and put it in a box.

I don't know where you live but make sure you tell VR to send it back second day air as well.
Word has it that they are extremely busy with all these updates so it could be awhile even with your V1 getting jet lag.
If you have not tried an X50 or an RX65 now would be a good time to try one. :wink:
