whats different between V 1.7 & V 1.8?

I jsut bought one and its supposed to be a version 1.8 with no POP....

SO I am new to the Valentine...what is the difference in the 1.7 vs 1.8?

1.7 was larger and heavier than the 1.8 due to the circuitry for laser being on the bottom - added about 1/4" to the thickness of the unit. The newest version incorporates that into one unit and of coure the electronics have been changed.

Range is the same VR tells you the v1.8 has a little more better ka but i find that BS in my opion in real world testing the v1.7 match's the v1.8 in range in all bands. the only thing i see is euro mode PoP mode and thinner case and better lazer :wink:
