    Default New V1 Feature

I wish the V1 had a new selectable feature like the RX65 does - USA mode / Accusweep.

Maybe VR could make the sweep slightly larger than USA mode so there would be no fear of possibly missing a Ka radar that has fallen out of tune, or possibly missing the Stalker ATR.

But you cannot deny that performance is increased (even on K band) with a USA Mode type of sweep. Imagine the V1's Ka range then!

Is there any option for US/Euro mode for the STi? Sorry for my ignorance on this one.

This is off topic. Please ask this in the Bel forum.

What's the v1's story with the Stalker ATR?

Stalker ATR operates at 34.7 GHz which is smack dab in the middle of the Ka band. Something being out of tune is more likely to cause the V1 to miss an MPH gun at 33.8, or a Kustom or Decatur at 35.5 than the Stalkers.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Oh, I thought maybe there was some other problem. I don't seem to get as good performance with the Stalker ATR's.

If this is true, then it would be really rare. Can anyone confirm this?

Why is BEL not recommending the use of USA mode? Why did they leave it out of their newer RDs, especially their top of the line STi?
