NEW V1 just arrived

I just recieved my new V1 in the mail yesterday and I have a couple quick questions for the guru's.

1. The power cord is a rj11 like my x50. Can the V1 run on a escort x50 direct wire and vice versa? I'd like to be able to swtich the two between cars at will.

2. What mode do most people run the V1 in? All-bogeys, Logic, or Advanced Logic?

You can use the escort direct wire, however when I used my x50 smart cord with my v1 I was unable to change the modes on the v1. I am not sure (i would assume so) if the direct wire will do the same

As for the modes, depending on your area and what you can handle. Parts of my driving I use the L, other times on the open highway I set it to A

Leave it on A until you are completely familiar with it. It my take a few weeks.

On the Escort direct wire you can not change the modes or the volume on the V1......But it will still work perfectly

eh? that is odd. I used my hardwire kit with no problems with the V1...

Mine worked for like a day maybe 2, then quit
