Default V1 outstanding in Tail of the Dragon run TN/NC/IL/KY/

    ... was a success.

We had 4 or 5 encounters... all were in Tennessee. I-24 and I-40 > ALL Ka band and they were set up really nice... instant on and the V1 was outstanding. facing on-coming traffic, we were east bound, and it was plenty of time for me to radio the guys, "bogey bogey bogey"..

we made our destination of 560 miles in 7 hours flat, that included 2 fuel stops and lunch. lol. left at 0500 and arrived at 1200. --- 1200 miles in 2 days, zero tickets. 80mph to 140 mph and without a hitch. gumball style.

zero encounters coming back and it was nice because we were hauling ass.

lol didnt really matter because we had 1 fed (me), 1 Maj, and 1 Col so if a trooper pulled one over, he pulled everyone over. pack of wolves baby, pack of wolves.

our group consisted of my M3, Dinan M Roadster, Porsche, and M Cooper

we will be doing this again next year.

oh, btw, 3 of the 4 cars had VAlentine 1, the 4th didnt have anything.

My best ever was 440 miles in 6 hours (PA/OH Border back to Chicago), so 73 average mph, yours still sounds like a lot more fun than the straight roads of Indiana, where you have to speed to keep from killing yourself.

Actually, I'd like to know how do a bunch of poorly paid civil servants get to afford high end German cars? (except for the Cooper M--girl car.) :?: :?: :?:

Did you hear about the bust where the feds seized 1.2 million in drug money from a drug dealers suit case? Well, the drug dealers are still *****ing because they really had 2.2 million in the suit case. Fuzy math or official skimming? Hmmmmm...

I will have to say that driving through TN was really nice. The roads were great, no construction, ppl driving in the left lane moved over promptly when we flashed with the highbeams...

the troopers were sharp. the location of their speed traps were VERY good. wish i had it on video. we will be doing the run again next year, the date won't be hardset until later.

poorly paid civil servants? are you serious? what agency/bureau would you be referring to? 8)
