    Default Saturn Sky Stealth Install

I can't believe what my eyes are seeing...this can't be good for the V1's range or longevity.

Range... looks like its mounted level and it has a clear view of the road ahead, as it comes out the back of the trim piece to the windshield... he should be good to go in my eyes without any range problems at all.

Longevity... hmmm there may just be some heat issues... but on the other hand he doesnt have to worry about vibrations or it falling with it mounted there I dont think.

Overall looks like a great install, I give it a thumbs up!

I want to know where his remote display is... scrolling down... I found it! Great install (other then I dont like to see that he took the V1 apart (somewhat) to accomplish this.

Anyways seems as if he knows his stuff, my only concern would be the 'E' error and or when it falls out of tune on him... that is going to be a PITA.

On a different note, my only suggestion is he should really blank out his LP in his gallery pictures, he needs to blank/wash out more stuff.

Very nice install, I don't know how you find all these Jazzy, I never see these when I search. I don't think the unit looks 100% level, but that would be hard in any car due to its position. As for the heat problem, its not in direct sunlight which I still think is it's major cause, and that cavity looks big enough for some circulation. I think it will be fine because enough air should get in those gaps being a convertible. I also love the guys comment at the bottom of the page:
I'm a little confused what this mod actually is. I see you put something up in the area around the windshield then I see you watching a video on a PSP. Can you explain what everything is?

oh, wow if you look at all the pics below the first few, he kind of does butcher his v1. and with his top down it blocks half the rear, not that it really matters with half.

So you can reassemble a V1 without any proof it was ever apart? I always was under the impression you would destroy some tell tell sign if you open it, like the serial numbers when you open up an XBOX.

now THAT is a sweet stealth install. How lucky is he that he happened to have a hollow trim piece that is the exact depth as the V1's length? The only issue is the rear is blocked when the top is up, though being in TX I'm sure he has the top down most of the time.
He's got a military base decal, so I bet that is why he went through the extra effort for a stealth install.

I think thats one hell of a good install without moving the v1 to either the back seats or mounted in a box in the front bumper.

I hope he realizes that he has compromised his protection by blocking the rear laser sensor  And for that matter, there's really not much of a reason to cut a hole in his trim just for the rear radar antenna...
