best radar location for hardwire?

shows a radar mounted in the back, would that location or maybe right in the center of the rear windshield work good? i want a location to hardwire it to but not be visible at the same time from cops and thefts. and how will it effect the range and everything with either 35% or limo tint on the rear windshield?

Only mount it in the front of the car.

After reading the above post, I thought he had the rear antenna facing forward, and the forward antenna facing rearward.

After looking at the pictures, it is clear that he installed a remote display in his mirror (bad ass) and then just mounted the unit (correct orientation) in the back. Not that bad of install actually, and I really like the mute switch built into the ashtray.

He actually has a very nice set up there. Make sure to click the link since he has very detailed install instructions there.
