OUTSTANDING!!!
One word regarding Valentine's Customer Service... OUTSTANDING!!!
I picked up a used V1 and sent it in to get tuned up. I sent it in with overnight delivery and they sent it back the same way, overnight. And they only had it a few days which is awesome!
Get this... They fixed it for FREE!!!

Yeah unlike Belscort, VR doesnt have to look up to any other reps but mike. Some may think Mike is stubborn, but if you actually realize it, all his effoorts have been for the customer. Making sure they were satisfied. He has one of the Top notch RD's and only makes changes which are better for the customer. When the analog to digital switch was made 3.826---3.851. Do you think the digital upgrade was less expensive and all the experirments that went along with it?????? NO... but he did it anyway, to make his customers satified, for they are the ones that pay his check. Mike is a AWESOME stand up man!

As soon as I got it, I took it by X and K door openers that I pass regularly. Nothing, Nada, Zip!
Once I got it back from Valentine Research...
3.812 is now my primary but I have my 3.861 next to it on my windshield. When I can, I do some tests to see which detects first. I power up only one at a time. So far they are about even on X and K. Much harder to test Ka since my only Ka encounters are real LEO's. And I doubt they want to play along.
But both appear to be excellent. I'm very happy.
