My V1 turns itself off and back on always

My V1 will turn itself on noise and everything, but it does it every couple minutes by itself. I'll just be driving and all of a sudden it'll just turn itself off and on real fast. It has worked fine the past few years and very recently it started to do this. It is extremely frustrating and annoying. Have you ever heard of this, and is there a way to fix it?

You most likely have a bad connection in the power supply in the vehicle, or a bad ground.

is it hardwired or are you using the lighter adapter>?

Lighter adapter, it was working fine before. However, I was thinking that as well. How can I fix this?

Roy used to sell the European lighter adapters for vehicles with larger than U.S. standard diameter lighter sockets.

Actually I think I have seen them at auto parts stores.

If your lighter plug is loose this will fix it!

Wait, so should I buy a new lighter socket? And if so what is the best way to take out the old one?

To change it simply unscrew from your mounting by putting your big thumb in and turning counter clockwise, but I was not suggesting that.

I was suggesting a simple adapter that makes a larger lighter plug smaller, as mentioned look at your local auto parts store.
