Default Whats wrong with my Valentine One?

I just got it in today. I was testing it out (for about 10 min)and the control display changed to what looked like a little "L". I thought it was in a different mode. Then it went complety blank. So I unpluged it and pluged it back in, then all the lights lit up and did not go off. I realized it was hot to the touch. Do these have overheat problems and what might be wrong with it?

No it was in my car a total of about 20 minutes. I tried plugging it back in after letting it cool down for 45 minutes, and it flashed the numbers "3823" on the display. I don't know if thats a trouble code or version?? I then retried it and it still lights up all lights on the display.

you are in the programming mode. just turn off and turn on. dont push and turn on .. it will go to programming mode.

3823 is your software version number.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. That was it. I guess that its normal for it to get hot in the windsheld. Also leaving it unpluged for about 30-45 minutes will reset it.

yeah be careful on those hot days. if anything pick up the V1 case or just any case at place it under your seat or in the glove box.
